Alive! Baby Flushed Down The Loo

The mum of a newborn baby found wedged in a toilet pipe will not be prosecuted - after officials ruled it was an accident. The two-day-old tot is recovering after being flushed down the loo in China. Firemen found the tiny boy after his mum gave birth unexpectedly while in the bathroom and the baby fell into the lavatory. The unmarried 22-year-old had kept her pregnancy secret and had to watch as the rescue effort unfolded.

A police official said: "Our investigations showed it was an accident."

Rescuers found the child when they cut into the pipe and saw a tiny foot. The 5lb boy could not be tugged out so the entire L-shaped section of pipe was cut out and taken to hospital.

Doctors in Jinhua, China, then used saws and pliers to carefully chip away at the pipe to free the baby, who still had his umbilical cord and placenta attached. He suffered cuts and a possible fractured skull.

But the hospital said the boy — named Baby 59 after the number of his incubator — was stable and expected to make a full recovery.

Police were initially said to be treating the case as attempted murder amid claims the parents deliberately flushed the unwanted baby down the loo. But after finding the placenta still attached officers ruled it was a freak accident and reports say the mother was at the scene the whole time.

The dramatic rescue was captured by TV cameras and sparked a furious response on Chinese social networks. One poster said: “I can never forgive dumping the baby into the toilet pipe. Can these people be called human beings?”

Babies are often dumped in China as couples in towns and cities are fined if they have more than one child. The policy was introduced in the 1970s in an effort to keep a rapidly growing population under control.

THEIR FINAL EMBRACE: Touching Image Of Couple Found Embracing In The Rubble Of Collapsed Factory Is Shared Around The World

A haunting image has emerged of a couple who perished in the Bangladesh factory collapse – clutching each other as they died.

With rubble, dust and metal strewn around, the lifeless woman is seen doubled backwards as the man tenderly wraps his arms around her.

Reams of light-blue clothing material – which would have been made in the garment factory – wrap around the wreckage as a trail of blood runs from the man's eyes.

More than 900 people are now known to have died – with around 2,500 people injured – in last month's collapse of the factory near Bangladeshi capital Dhaka.

Rescuers today pulled 94 bodies from the ruins of the eight-storey Rana Plaza – where some of the clothes were made for Western retailers. The industrial catastrophe in Savar sparked mass protests, with many workers claiming they were forced to work by the owners despite huge cracks appearing in the building.
Accussed... the factory owner Sohel Rana after his arrest

Rescuers plan to wrap up their operation tomorrow before bulldozers move in to shift the rubble. The heart-wrenching shot of the couple was captured by local photographer Taslima Akhter, who said: “I have tried desperately, but have yet to find any clues about them.

"I don’t know who they are or what their relationship is with each other.

“I spent the entire day the building collapsed on the scene, watching as injured garment workers were being rescued from the rubble.

“I remember the frightened eyes of relatives — I was exhausted both mentally and physically.

“Around 2am, I found a couple embracing each other in the rubble.

"The lower parts of their bodies were buried under the concrete. The blood from the eyes of the man ran like a tear.

“When I saw the couple, I couldn’t believe it. I felt like I knew them — they felt very close to me.

Taslima added: “Every time I look back to this photo, I feel uncomfortable — it haunts me.

"It’s as if they are saying to me, we are not a number — not only cheap labor and cheap lives. We are human beings like you.”

Bangladesh has one of the largest garment industries in the world but has faced repeated criticism over low pay and its factories’ often dangerous working conditions. Even last night, at least eight people were killed in a fire that swept through a knitwear plant in nearby Dhaka.

A number of officials – including the Rana Plaza's owner – have been arrested since the factory collapse and charged with causing deaths by negligence.

Woman Injected Cooking Oil Into Her Own Face After Doctors Refused To Give Her Any More Plastic Surgery

A plastic surgery addict injected cooking oil into her face when doctors refused to give her any more silicone.
   watch video below

Former model Hang Mioku has been left permanently disfigured following the DIY beauty treatment.  After injecting an entire bottle of black market silicone into her face, Hang resorted to using cooking oil that left her face severely swollen and scarred.

Her plights was featured on Korean television and viewers donated thousands of pounds to pay for corrective surgery. During the first of 10 operations, surgeons removed 60g of silicone, oil and other foreign substances from her face and 200g from her neck.

However, Hang is still disfigured and she said she wishes she could have her old face back. Hang had her first procedure aged 28 and then moved to Japan where she had repeated treatments.

She quickly became obsessed with having smoother and softer skin. Doctors eventually refused to carry out any more work on her after her face became noticeably enlarged.

However, she managed to get hold of a bottle of silicone and a syringe to self-inject but when that ran out she resorted to use cooking oil. Her face was so altered that her own parents did not recognise her and local children also used to call her 'standing fan' because her face was so large compared to her small body.

Numerous operations paid for by donations have managed to reduce the size of her face and neck but she is still significantly disfigured.

Recently the former model was working in a recycled clothes shop, called The Beautiful Shop, and receiving handouts from the state.

Dramatic Moment Motor-Paraglider Crashes Into Power Lines... And Survives

This was the dramatic moment a pilot crashed his motorised paraglider into electric cables but survived - despite feeling the electric charge pass through his body. The 30-year-old daredevil, known only as Daniel, misjudged his approach to an airfield in March, Cambridgeshire. Instead of safely touching down, the experienced pilot crashed his powermotor into the lines where he was left dangling for a terrifying ten minutes.
   watch video below:

Workers on the airstrip ran to the man’s aid fearing the worst but they found him alive and were able to advise him on how to avoid the electric wires above. Daniel was close enough to the ground to leap to safety but he still suffered burns to his right hand and leg as he fell.

The incident happened as the motorised paramotor approached Fenland Wind and Airsports Centre on Sunday evening. The lucky pilot said today: 'I was coming into land on Sunday afternoon, and was following a friend.

'I came over low, and then found the lines in front of me. I just didn’t see them. We had a safety briefing before, and it was totally my fault.

'My leg got caught on the line, but I managed to release myself and get clear from the lines. It was only about four feet from the ground, so I jumped down.

'It was scary. I feared for my life and I thought I was going to be continually electrocuted. 'Nigel Davies, who runs the centre, just told me to be careful when I came down.

'Now I can’t wait to get back in the air. It is a great sport, with great people and a great community. It really brings people together.'

Daniel had to spend a night in the burns unit at Chelmsford Hospital, Essex, while he was kept under observation but was able to return home the following day. Nigel Davies, 45, who runs the centre where Daniel crashed defended the extreme past-time as 'safe' and said the crash was a 'freak accident'.

He said: 'We have been here for seven years, and this is the first accident we have had.'

Brian Dobson, 50, from Benwick, Cambridgeshire, managed to capture Daniel’s plight on camera and said: 'He was up there for a good ten minutes.

'He said he could feel electricity coming through his body. If anyone had touched him they would have got a shock.

'He managed to free himself and the emergency services arrived five minutes later.'

A spokeswoman for UK Power Networks said 45 customers had lost power following the crash, but it was restored two-and-a-half hours later.

Snoop Lion Admits He Used To Be A Pimp

Snoop Lion has revealed he worked as a pimp back in 2003. The No Guns Allowed rapper claims he managed several prostitutes and had a lot of famous clients, including top athletes. The 41-year-old rapper - formerly known as Snoop Dogg - told the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine: 'I put an organisation together. I did a Playboy tour, and I had a bus follow me with ten b***hes on it.

'I could fire a b***h, f**k a b***h, get a new h*: It was my program. City to city, t***y to t***y, hotel room to hotel room, athlete to athlete, entertainer to entertainer.

"If I'm in a city where where the Denver Broncos or the Nuggets play, I get a couple of they players to come hang out, pick and choose, and whichever one you like comes with a number. A lot of athletes bought p***y from me.'

However, Snoop insisted that he only did the job out of 'fascination' and never made any money from the illegal transactions.

He added: 'I'd act like I'd take the money from the b***h, but I'd let her have it. It was never about the money; it was about the fascination of being a pimp.

'As a kid I dreamed of being a pimp, I dreamed of having cars and clothes and b***hes to match. I said, "F**k it -- I'm finna do it." '

The father-of-three, who has been married to his high school sweetheart Shante Broadus since 1997, insists he is still in love with his wife.

He said: 'I love her to this day because she coulda shook out on a n***a, but she stayed in my corner.

'So when I decided to let it go, she was still there.'

Family Fire Killer Jailed for 30 Years

A woman who began a fire which killed five members of a neighbouring family must serve a minimum of 30 years.

Mother-of-five Melanie Smith, 43, set Lee-Anna Shiers' pushchair alight in a row over a shared hallway. Ms Shiers, 20, her nephew Bailey, four, niece Skye, two, partner Liam Timbrell, 23, and son Charlie, 15 months, died after becoming trapped in an upstairs flat in Prestatyn, Denbighshire.

At Mold Crown Court Smith was given five life terms for the murders, reports the BBC.

Smith wept as the sentence was passed by the judge, Mr John Griffith Williams, who called her action "exceptional wickedness, almost unparalleled in its consequences".

The judge said the "root cause" of Smith's offending was hatred of another woman, Samantha Schofield. She was motivated by jealousy due to her faltering relationship with Stephen Clarkson, whom she claimed had cheated on her with Ms Schofield.

"That hatred, which was all the more intense because of your drink problem, took over your life," the judge said.

After the sentence, Timbrell's mother Stephanie Watson said: "This has been a long, painful road for the families and while nothing can ever bring back any of our children or grandchildren from this terrible tragedy, there is some comfort in knowing that justice has been done, although no sentence can ever reflect the severity of the crime."

Smith was convicted last week of the five murders and of threatening to burn Ms Schofield's home.

During her trial, the jury heard that Smith was in dispute with Ms Shiers because the young mother-of-one left her son's pushchair in the downstairs communal hallway at the property where they both lived in flats.

Boko Haram Hits Troops, Prisons, Barracks...

In a movie-like scene, about 10 trucks carrying an unspecified number of gunmen rolled into the town at dawn. The gunmen, believed to be Boko Haram fighters, attacked a police barracks and a military formation. No fewer than 55 persons, including 22 policemen, 13 prison officials as well as several insurgents, died in the mayhem. Among the dead were two women believed to be wives of two policemen and their three children.

The invaders attacked a prison, setting some 109 inmates free. From one government facility to the other, the gunmen moved, leaving a trail of blood and tears. At the Prison Service, 13 officials were killed. Five policemen were killed at the Mobile Police Barracks/Base. Three people, including a woman who had just got married to a police corporal, were killed. The Magistrate’s Court, Revenue Office, Primary Healthcare Centre and Local Government secretariat, among other public places, were burnt.

Also set ablaze were the Divisional Police Headquarters and the offices of the DPO and that of the Area Commander. Bama streets were empty all yesterday. Only soldiers and riot policemen were seen. The casualty at the prison may not have been big, according to sources, but for the inmates who reportedly exposed the officials hiding being firewood heaps.

But the gunmen met a stiff resistance at the 202 Military Barracks on the outskirts of the town. Many of them were gunned down as they attempted to jump over the fence. A suspect, Bakura Ibrahim, was arrested.

Some reporters, who were guided by the JTF spokesman, Lt.-Col. Sagir Musa, visited the 202 Barracks yesterday to see the scene of the fighting. They were conducted round by the Commanding Officer, Lt.-Col. A.G. Laka. He said 10 suspected Boko Haram members, some in military uniforms, were killed by soldiers who foiled their attempt to attack the barracks.

Some arms and ammunition were recovered from the suspects. They included several 4 litres plastic containers water mixed with hard drugs, which, according to the military officer, makes insurgents lose their senses after taking it.

Lt.-Col. Laka said his men succeeded in killing many of the suspects, but some of them picked the bodies of their colleagues before running away into the bush. They later attacked Banki, a town on the Camerounian border. Ten insurgents and seven policemen were killed penultimate week during a clash between security operatives and militants in Bama.

About 200 houses, including shops were razed during that confrontation. Boko Haram launched its uprising in the tiny town in 2009, headquarters of Bama Local Goverrnment Area. Located about 75 kilometres away from Maiduguri, Bama, with an area of 4,997 square kilometers, has a population of 269, 986 according to the Nigerian Population Census (NPC) record of 2006.

76-Year-Old Bulawayo Pastor Uses Penis To Pray For Female Congregants

A 76-year-old Bulawayo Pastor has appeared in court on allegations of raping an epileptic woman from his church.

The pastor was allegedly claiming that he was praying for the woman to heal her from the condition. Pastor Jackson Banda, of 1915 New Magwegwe who is also a pastor at Faith In Christ International Church is facing two counts of rape after allegedly using his penis to 'heal' an epileptic woman. He would allegedly invite the woman to his house and tell her that he had sexual intercourse with all the people he prayed for as part of the healing process.

Banda was not asked to plead to two counts of rape when he appeared before Western Commonage magistrate Mr Willard Maphios Moyo. He was remanded in custody to 13 May.

Ms Fiona Ncube for the State told the court that Banda called himself a man of God who cures all diseases. She said Banda would invite his church members to his house for prayer sessions and on 20 March he invited a 26-year-old epileptic woman who he allegedly told that he slept with all his "clients for the prayer to work."

The court was told that after the first prayer session, Banda instructed the woman to go to his bedroom where the healing session was to be conducted and she complied.

In his bedroom, Banda allegedly told the complainant that she resembled his late wife and the woman, in her statement, said she could not resist when he started fondling her. Banda also allegedly told the woman that he might be looking old but he was still strong to satisfy her and went on to have sexual intercourse with her once.

On another day early last month, the complainant was coming from Mpilo Central Hospital for a routine check-up when she met Banda who invited her to his house for another "prayer-cum-penis" session.

The court heard that the two were supposed to go into the bush where the prayers would be conducted, but Banda told the complainant to go into his bedroom to rest before they could go since she was tired. He allegedly followed into the bedroom and raped her once.

The matter came to light on 24 April when the woman's mother asked her to go to the pastor's house for prayers and she refused. The woman told her mother that she feared that the pastor would rape her instead of praying for her.

A report was made to the police leading to the pastor's arrest.

April Jones Murder Trial Jury To Visit Mark Bridger's House

The nine women and three men will travel from Mold Crown Court with the judge, Mr Justice Griffith-Williams and legal teams to Machynlleth from where the five-year-old disappeared last October. During a two-hour visit to the town in mid-Wales, the jury will enter Bridger’s cottage, named Mount Pleasant, where traces of the little girl’s blood and fragments of a child’s skull were found. They will be shown the wood-burning stove in which tiny pieces of bone were discovered in the ashes and the bathroom where specks of April’s blood were also identified.

The jury will start their visit at Machynlleth Junior School, where April was a pupil and where Bridger attended a parents’ evening on the night he allegedly abducted and murdered her. They will then travel by coach to the Bryn y Gog estate where the little girl lived with her mother Coral, father Paul, her two half sisters and her brother.

They will see the place close to her family home where she was playing with her best friend when Bridger, 47, allegedly put her in his Land Rover vehicle and drove her away. The former slaughter man denies having abducted April, and has insisted that he accidentally killed her when he ran her over. He then claims he placed her badly injured body in his car and drove away but has no recollection what he did with the body.

After visiting the Bryn y Gog estate the jury will see the local cottage hospital before various CCTV cameras that recorded his movements on the night in question are located. The jury will also be taken to a lay-by where three witnesses saw Bridger on the morning after April’s disappearance, carrying a black bin bag. The area was subsequently excavated but no trace of April or her missing clothing were ever found.

The jury visit will also include the point just outside Machynlleth where Bridger was arrested on the afternoon of October. They will then travel to his cottage where they will spend around quarter of an hour examining inside. During the prosecution opening, the jury were told how police had discovered child pornography on Bridger’s laptop computer as well as images of young murder victims including Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.

The trial will resume at Mold Crown Court on Friday when statements from April’s parents are expected to be heard.

Mother Slashes Daughter With Blade For Wasting N100

Angry residents of Ono-Odan Street, Ijanikin, Lagos, nearly lynched a mother, Kudirat Abiola, for cutting her nine-year-old daughter, Precious, with razor blade. Kudirat made deep cuts on Precious’s back, left leg and right arm with the blade to “teach her a lesson.”

It was leant that Kudirat decided to punish her daughter after she wasted N100 given to her by her father on junk food.

A resident, who pleaded anonymity, said that neighbours were furious after seeing the damage on Precious, adding that the incident was one of many brutalities perpetrated by Kudirat, a mother of two and a trader.

He said, “We wanted to take her to the police, but Precious pleaded for her. The residents nevertheless searched for Kudirat, but she could not be found.

Precious’ father, Dayo, is a customs officer.

A resident, Fasai Sunmonu, said Precious’ father was not always at home because of the nature of his work.

It was learnt that Precious, a primary six student of Marvellous Nursery and Primary School, Sele, Ijanikin, had on Monday shown her wounds to a friend, Mosaki Rachel.

Rachel said, “Precious told me that her father gave her N100 on Sunday and she spent it. But she did not know that her mother had cooked rice at home. When Precious’s mother found out, she beat her first, then used blade to cut her body. When I saw the wounds, I took her to my uncle, Fasai, who has hydrogen peroxide, for treatment.”

Precious, however,  told our correspondent that her mummy was just training her.

She said, “I like my mummy, and she likes me too. She is just training me. My father saw the wounds on Monday and got angry. I told him not to fight with my mummy. My father said he would take me to hospital for treatment. But since then I have not seen him.”

Kudirat’s friend, Ramat Sunmonu, a teacher, said Kudirat believed in corporal punishment.

She said, “She often beats her children including the younger one, Daniel, who is four years old. We were closer before, but because of her aggression towards her children, I don’t often visit her anymore.

“I was informed of the incident while coming back from church yesterday (Monday) evening. I ran to her house and when I saw the wounds, I was perplexed.

“I was told that she had run away from home since Monday morning because she was scared that her mother would do more harm. Precious came home at 9pm.”

Segun Abogun, who resides in a room next to the Abiolas, said, “We have learnt to stay out of her (Kudirat) way.”

Kudirat, who spoke with our correspondent on the telephone, however, said she inflicted the injury on her daughter because she was fond of coming home late.

She said, “I cut her because she often comes home late at about 11 pm. She doesn’t stay at home and she is naughty.

“I did not punish her because of N100, but because of her bad behaviour. I want her to show the mark to her grand children to tell them that disobedience does not pay.”

Kris Kross Rapper Chris 'Mac Daddy' Kelly Dies

Chris Kelly, known as one half of the 1990s US rap duo Kris Kross, has died at the age of 34 in what police say may have been a drug overdose.Police were called to Kelly's home in south Atlanta at around 4:30pm (local time) on Wednesday.

He was taken to the south campus of the Atlanta Medical Centre and pronounced dead around 5pm. Corporal Kay Lester of the Fulton County police said "it appears it may have been a possible drug overdose".

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out to establish an official cause of death. Kelly, known as "Mac Daddy," and Chris Smith, known as "Daddy Mac", were introduced to the music world in 1992 by music producer and rapper Jermaine Dupri. He had discovered the pair in an Atlanta shopping centre.

Their most famous song was the frenetic Jump, taken from their multi-platinum debut album Totally Krossed Out. And they were also known for their fashion style, wearing their clothes backwards. Jump reached number one in the US and Australia and two in the UK.

Their musical achievements led to instant fame. They toured with Michael Jackson, appeared on TV shows, and even had their own video game. The duo was never able to match the success of their first song, though they had other hits like Warm It Up and Tonite's Tha Night.

Earlier this year, the pair performed together to celebrate the anniversary of Durpri's label, So So Def.

Woman Mauled To Death By Lion As She Made Love To Boyfriend

A woman was mauled to death by a lion as she made love to her boyfriend outdoors in Zimbabwe, it was reported that Sharai Mawera died after the big cat pounced while she was enjoying a romantic moment at a secluded spot in the bush near the northern town of Kariba with her unnamed partner.

Ms Mawera's boyfriend, who has not been identified, is believed to have jumped up and fled in the nude when the lion lunged forward.

A source reported that the young woman died at the scene.

He said: 'Unfortunately the woman was mauled to death by the lion, but her boyfriend managed to escape naked.'

A friend of the couple said that Ms Mawera had worked at the local market and that her partner was a fisherman.
