Bachelor - D'Banj Official Video

D’banj has released another single after the ‘Oyato’ single which didn’t quite meet expectations. In this single, ‘Bachelor’, the Kokomaster steps it up a notch as he drops a top-class video, directed by Sesan.
Cameos come from Kay Switch and hype man, Special Ed.
Watch the video:

Russian children find lion cub, take it to school

MOST primary school classes get a goldfish to keep, a hamster or a turtle if they're lucky - but children from one village in southern Russia got to play with a lion cub.

Children in the Rostov region found the 5-month old cub on the steppe (grassy plain) and brought it to their teacher, who kept it in the school gym, police said.

While waiting for police, children petted and played with the cub, named Barsik. One boy even tried to ride it like a horse while it mewled and swiped at the air.

The cub had escaped from a car on the way to a zoo in Dagestan in the North Caucasus. It has now been removed from the school and placed in a local zoo.

White man kills a black teen over loud music

Just a few months after the shooting of Trayvon Martin, a teenager in central Florida has also been shot under suspicious circumstances. Michael David Dunn shot and killed Jordan Russell Davis, a student at Samuel W. Wolfson High School.

The 17-year old was sitting in an SUV in a parking lot when Dunn came up and asked him to turn his music down. The two exchanged words, and that’s when Dunn shot at the young man eight or nine times, killing him in the process. His attorney says that the shooting was in self-defense.

Russell’s father, Ron Davis, says that his son died in the arms of one of his friends. He also says that he was unarmed. Dunn has been arrested and charged with both murder and attempted murder. He is being held without bail.

The fact that Dunn plans to say that the shooting was in self-defense brings the controversial “Stand Your Ground” law back into the spotlight. But what is also sad is that while many African Americans will be up in arms over this shooting, almost no one says a word when black men shoot one another. This happens in nearly every major city, every single day of the year. It seems that black death only gets attention when it’s done by someone of another race.

A former Nigerian basketball player Chinedu Onyeuku has been shot dead after trying to rob home in Texas with an accomplice. It was gathered that the former D’Tigers of Nigeria player, was shot dead in a botched burglary in Texas before Thanksgiving.

Onyeuku, 29, was trying to break into a home in Plano on 21 November and was shot and killed by the homeowner, Police say. Onyeuku had played for the Nigerian team that qualified for this summer’s Olympic Games in London.

Onyeuku and another person allegedly tried to break into a residence on Rio Grande Street in Plano, Texas the night of 21 November. The homeowner told Plano police that he saw ‘multiple people’ approaching the house. The two apparently entered the residence by breaking a glass patio door. The homeowner shot Onyeuku, killing him instantly. His accomplice ran away without injury. Police are still trying to track the second burglar.

No one inside the home was injured in the burglary. Upon their arrival, EMT workers pronounced him dead at the scene. It is unclear why Onyeuku and his companion were trying to burglarize the residence.

The Nigeria Basketball Federation, NBBF, posted a statement, saying that the 29-year-old athlete played basketball for the team that qualified for the London 2012 Olympics. However, Onyeuku was not on the Olympic roster and did not actually compete.

The statement reads: “His passion for playing with D’Tigers was deep-seated and he will be greatly missed. The federation joins his family and team mates to mourn a departed son, father, husband and great patriot.”

According to online sports records, Onyeuku was born in the Nigerian capital of Lagos in 1983. He moved to the United States at the age of six. He played college basketball at Illinois State University and then went semi-pro for awhile, playing for the Arlington Bulldogs, in the American Basketball Association. In 2009, he was invited to play for the D’Tigers of Nigeria. It also said that Onyeuku lived in Omaha, Nebraska.

She was taken to New York's 10th precinct and processed by authorities.

4-Week-Old ‘Bled To Death’ After Home Circumcision

A four-week-old baby boy “bled to death” after a home circumcision carried out by a nurse.

Goodluck Caubergs died the day after he was circumcised without anesthetic by nurse Grace Adeleye. The 66-year-old — who is also a midwife — used only scissors, forceps, and olive oil to circumcise the baby at a Chadderton, Greater Manchester home.

After carrying out the procedure, Adeleye cleaned the wound with cotton wool and applied a a bandage. Between 30 and 40 minutes after the surgery, she left without checking the baby’s condition. When the baby’s parents went to check on him, they found that the bandage had come off the wound, and there was blood in his diaper.

Adeleye denies manslaughter by gross negligence.

Adeleye and Caubergs’ parents are originally from Nigeria, where circumcision of newborns is the tradition among Christian families.

Adeleye was paid £100 to perform the operation, as the baby’s parents didn’t know the procedure was available at the NHS.

The court heard that Adeleye left a “ragged” wound that bled, and her post-operative care was inadequate.

Prosecutor Adrian Darbishire said, “The allegation essentially here is that the care she provided in the course of that procedure was so bad that not only did it cause the death of that young baby wholly unnecessarily, but it amounted to gross negligence and a crime.”

Darbishire also said that even a small amount of blood loss is dangerous and the loss of just one sixth of a pint of blood can be fatal for a newborn.

A post-mortem examination revealed that Goodluck Caubergs death was caused by a loss of blood.

Rev. Run Weight Loss: Hip-Hop Legend Drops 22 Pounds

Joseph “Rev. Run” Simmons has dropped 22 pounds in an effort to lower his diabetes risk. The 48-year-old hip-hop legend said diet and exercise helped him get on par with achieving the physique he’ll need to keep up with Run-D.M.C. group mate, Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels.

“I just did a concert with D.M.C. after 13 years, and after losing some pounds for that, I felt really good,” Simmons said. “We got good reviews for having lots of energy on stage and I realized that if I’m going to continue to do shows … I gotta be in Mick Jagger-type of condition.”

While his weight loss was partly motivated by appearances, Simmons said his new health routine is rooted in combating his higher-than-average risk for Type 2 diabetes.

“I found out that [my father] had diabetes in his older age and as I was moving along in my life … I realized that I had to start losing weight,” he said. “[It was] for many reasons, but the number one reason was for health.”

Jada Pinkett Smith Awesomely Defends Willow Smith’s Hair Against Meddling Mommy Brigade

Jada Pinkett Smith’s open Facebook reply to her daughter, Willow Smith’s ever changing hair and the public response it receives last week wins her all the cool mom high fives.

Jada Pinkett Smith herself is not a slave to the long hair and short dress female ideal foisted upon us by (not going to say the patriarchy, not going to say the patriarchy) the media, and Willow Smith has always managed to look like her own woman despite being fairly young.

And non-famous moms may look at Jada Pinkett Smith and daughter Willow and think that it must be cool to be rich and famous and be able to let your kid have pink hair as she whips it back and forth — but the star mom’s Facebook note turns the whole “kids should be picture perfect” nonsense on its head.

Jada also rightly points out how the media critique of Willow, and Jada’s “allowance” of her daughter’s agency, is at its core sexist and reinforces the idea that females are community property, eventually here mainly for men to look upon and admire.

In her note, Pinkett Smith explains:

“This subject is old but I have never answered it in its entirety. And even with this post it will remain incomplete … The question why I would LET Willow cut her hair. First the LET must be challenged. This is a world where women, girls are constantly reminded that they don’t belong to themselves; that their bodies are not their own, nor their power or self determination.”

The actress continues, pointing out that long hair is still deemed the ideal for women, regardless of their feelings about their own hair:

“I made a promise to endow my little girl with the power to always know that her body, spirit and her mind are HER domain. Willow cut her hair because her beauty, her value, her worth is not measured by the length of her hair.”

She concludes in a fashion that should make us all reconsider what messages we send our girls when it comes to how they choose to dress:

“It’s also a statement that claims that even little girls have the RIGHT to own themselves and should not be a slave to even their mother’s deepest insecurities, hopes and desires. Even little girls should not be a slave to the preconceived ideas of what a culture believes a little girl should be. More to come. Another day.”

Do you find Jada Pinkett Smith’s words to be a powerful critique of expectations pushed on young girls even before they hit double digits?

I sold human parts to churches and ritual killers

November 21st will ever remain indelible  in the heart of Oloko villagers as members of the palace guard to the community leader of Ajara Topa community in collaboration with a vigilante group operating in the area arrested a man who allegedly eats and sells human parts to ritualists, operating from a hole he dug under the Gbaji bridge along the Badagry-Seme border.

Joshua Akindele,56, who hails from Etokia Local Government in Ogun State was spotted by one Anthony Amos who watched him crawl into a hole under the Gbaji bridge, confessed that he had been into cannibalism and ritual killing for the past 15 years, after being introduced to the business by a friend who convinced him to stop driving popular motor cycle known as “Okada” which he claimed  profited him a little, but could not sustain him.

He further said that he had been earlier sent to prison for 5 years after raping a 17-year old girl.

Speaking with Crime Guard, Akindele confessed that he was  the brain behind the incessant killing within the village using  ply woods to hit his human prey, and dragging them into the holes before splitting their parts for food and business… with ritual buyers.

*Joshua caught with some human skeletons
In his statement “I have been in this business for the past 15 years after my friend advised me to stop riding okada and to join him in ritual killing and cannibalism”

When asked how he carried out his activities, he confessed “Whenever I see somebody walking alone without being conscious of who is watching, I walk slowing up to them and  hit them with a big ply wood on their heads after which they fall unconscious, I then drag them into the hole and use a knife to cut them into parts which I sell to some churches and some ready buyers who indulge in ritual killing for easy money, and some times when I feel hungry  late in the night, I eat some parts for food.

He confessed further that he sells the parts as follows: Heads 7,500, breast 1,500, penis 1000, hands and legs for 3,500.

Amos who is a member of a vigilante group in the area alerted other members of the group and palace guards of the Baale of Ajara Topa community to monitor the movements of  Joshua.

He told Crime Guard that at about 1 a.m on 21st of November, he was on his normal routine watch when he noticed him (Joshua) crawling into the hole with a rice bag, he quickly alerted other members who confronted him with a gun and ordered him to drop and open what he was carrying. When he did, they discovered rotten human parts;  skulls, legs, hands, breasts e.t.c.

Crime Guard visited the palace of the Baale of Ajara Topa community,  Chief Samuel Amosu Owolabi, who after  confirming the incident told Crime Guard that he was sleeping in his palace when an emergency call woke him with the caller informing him that a man had been arrested by members of his palace guards in collaboration with members of the vigilante group with human parts.

Chief Samuel said he quickly called Chief Patifo, Baale of Iyafin whom his community shared the bridge with to accompany him to the scene.  When he got there, he noticed a mob had begun beating the suspect and only stopped after he begged them to let him live so that proper investigations will be carried out by the police.

Crime Guard confirmed the suspect was in the custody of the Badagry police division from a police source who pleaded anonymity.

Britain's biggest family gets bigger as mum has baby No16 and says: I want more

SUPERMUM Sue Radford gave birth to her SIXTEENTH baby — then told baker hubby Noel: “I want more.”

Sue got broody as soon as they took baby Casper home to swell Britain’s biggest family. The 37-year-old who looks after her kids in a former care home and is not on benefits says: “I just love being a mummy. We’re so lucky.”

Sue first got pregnant aged 14. She and Noel, now 41, were determined to keep baby Chris, now 23, as both were given up for adoption at birth.

The sweethearts married when Sue was 18 and Sophie, now 18, soon arrived. Then came Chloe, 17, Jack 15, Daniel, 13, and 11-year-old Luke.
Millie, ten, Katie, nine, James, eight, Ellie, seven, Aimee, six, Josh, four, Max, three, and Tilly May, two, followed.

Oscar arrived last October before 8lb 8oz Casper was born seven weeks ago after a 16-MINUTE labour.

Sue, who drives the kids around in a minibus, said: “He’s settled in like a dream. I get very emotional when I see the children together. I know people stare. Some think they won’t get the attention they need. They don’t realise how dedicated we are. And maybe we’ll be lucky enough to have more.”

The family spends £250 a week on food. Every day they polish off three loaves of bread, two boxes of cereal and 18 pints of milk. An average supper can include 16 pork chops, 15lb of spuds, three cabbages and 30 carrots.

Their nine-bed home in Morecambe, Lancs, has an industrial-sized washing machine and huge fridge. And now it will be even MORE crowded after daughter Sophie gave birth to Sue and Noel’s first grandchild Daisy.

Baby Kidnapped From Labour Room

Gunmen have invaded the labour room of a maternity home in Nkwoegwu, Ohuhu, in Umuahia North LGA of Abia State and took away a baby delivered a few minutes back, while nurses were battling to save the mother from bleeding to death. The baby, a boy was still dripping with blood when the evil men seized and folded it with the bed sheet in which it was lying.

The mother, Mrs. Eberechi Ihezukwu, says she still thinks that she is in one deep dream, which she will wake up from. "I only heard the cry of my baby and I asked the nurse its sex and she told me that it was a baby boy. I have had three girls for my husband and this is the first male child. My heart was joyful as I felt that I have got an identity in my husband's house.

With the joy, I was happy that if the nurses stopped the bleeding, its arrival would be a consolation for my travails. "Now see what they have done to me. My breasts are heavy with milk; it is a burden I have refused to bear. They should please bring back my baby to suck my breasts. I refuse to believe that my baby has gone; the God who put it in my womb for nine months before its delivery will fish out the perpetrators and my baby will be brought back to me.

Peace will continue to elude those who have taken it until they bring it back to me," Mrs. Ihezukwu prayed. Her husband, Clifford Ihezukwu, a radio/television repairer, said what was too much for him to understand was how the police, who he reported the incident to turned him into a suspect and locked him up in a cell for two days (Tuesday to Thursday) until he allegedly bailed himself with N15, 000.

"On Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at about 2pm, my wife who was already heavy with a baby told me she was going to hospital (Our Lady of Apostles, Nkwoegwu, Ohuhu, Umuahia North LGA of Abia State) where she normally puts to bed.

Later, she phoned me, seeking for my consent as the nurses wanted to give her hot drip to help her deliver of the baby since during her three previous pregnancies, there was no time she was given such hot drip before she put to bed.

Instantly, I gave my consent if that would be the solution to the problem.

I learnt that the drip was at about 6pm. By 7pm, I went there to see her since it is within a short distance from my home. When I got to the maternity, I saw my wife's sister rejoicing; she told me that my wife had just put to bed. I thanked God and told her to take charge while I went back to check what I was cooking. I was there when she rushed back to the house and was shouting: "My stomach! My stomach!" I asked her what was amiss and she told me that gunmen invaded the maternity, kicked her in the
stomach after overpowering the security man and collected everybody's cell phones, including that of my wife who was still inside the labour room where the nurses were battling to stop the bleeding after the delivery.

They dashed into the labour room, grabbed the baby who was still dripping with blood and dashed off. My wife was not yet conscious of what was going on as she battled for survival after the nurses had administered her with some injection to stop the bleeding. So, I rushed to the maternity. When I got there, the whole place was
locked; I went round knocking at the windows until someone opened. When they narrated how gunmen carried out their operation and took my baby away, I took my wife and went straight home.

"When I later came back to the maternity, soldiers had besieged the arena. After asking questions, the soldiers picked the five nurses and I told them that my wife was still bleeding and appealed to them to allow one nurse to attend to her and they obliged me. After some time, policemen came and asked us what happened and I told them what transpired. Then, they asked me to come to the station in the morning and report the matter officially.

They asked me and I directed them to the home of the owner of the maternity and they left. In the morning, I was attending to my wife and children when they came and asked me why I had not come to the station as they directed me. Then, I told them that I was still attending to my wife and children and would soon be with them.

Shortly after, I went to Afugiri Police Station to make an entry. On getting there, the policemen who came to my house earlier were not present so I waited for about four hours before they came back as I was told that they went to Umuosu, the home of the owner of the maternity.

I told the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) what I knew about the matter. When he asked why I left the maternity I told him that I went to feed my children and look after my wife who was still down. After another two hours, I told them that I was going to eat and see how my wife and children were doing. As I was speaking with him, he ordered that I should be kept behind the counter. My brother who came with me had to go and buy malt and snacks for me to eat because I was already famished. "Then the owner of the maternity, Mrs. Dan Mbakwe and her husband came with my Sister- in-Law. About 4pm, I asked them what my offence was and why I should not be allowed to go home and see my family, but the policemen kept mute. After some time, they started intimidating and telling me that I was the number one suspect in the case and that I would soon be taken to see the Commissioner of Police and I said ok. "At about 5pm, they brought out a Hilux van, put me, my sister in-law, Mrs. Mbakwe and her husband and the securityman at the hospital in it and took us to the State CID headquarters. At the State CID, I told them my story and they told me that it was late for me to be released and that I would be locked up till the next day.

They asked me to pull off my dress and then hauled my sister and me in-law into cell. But they kept Mrs. Mbakwe, her husband and the securityman at the counter. Then they all left and handed over to another set of policemen on duty.

"In the morning, just before people started coming to work, they put us (the trio) into cell for about an hour to look as if all of us had been inside the cell all night. I then asked the Investigating Police Officer (IPO) what my offence was and he told me that no one had come for me.

He said that he had asked them to bring N20,000 for my bail. 'Are you asking that amount of money from some one who had been passing through such a trauma?' I asked the man who came for me later – Chief Ukaobasi.

I told him to look into my trouser pocket at the counter, maintaining that I had N8, 000 inside it. He found the money intact, added N2, 000 to it and paid the police with a promise to bring a balance of N5, 000 if they released me. On Thursday, they released me to go home. I then borrowed N5, 000 from a neigbour and sent to them to bring the total sum to N15, 000. But by 1pm on that Thursday, the owner of the hospital and the security man were released. That is what I'm passing through. "I wonder why I should be made to go through this after my baby had been kidnapped and my wife left at a point of death.

"The name of the lady who signed my bail bond is Chioma. I ran to the police to help me because I had nobody and the police threw me into cell and turned me into a suspect instead of helping me to look for my stolen child. I am calling on the relevant authorities to come to my rescue. I have no one to fight for me," he lamented. When
contacted on phone, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ambrose Aisabor, who was shocked said he was not aware of the matter.

South Glens Falls Police Chief Kevin Judd says photos on social networking sites were given to his department by people concerned about the Nov. 3 party.
At least one image shows a scantily clad, tattooed woman clinging upside down to a seated teen as others look on.
Murphy said Thursday that investigators are trying to determine who hired the dancers and if the bowling alley venue served alcohol to any of the 80 adults and teens.

Cross-dresser arrested in UAE women-only park

An Indian man has been arrested by police in the United Arab Emirate for violating public decency and breaching modesty laws after he dressed in traditional Arab women's clothing and slipped into a women-only park in Sharjah, one of the United Arab Emirates.

It was not clear if the man's moustache might have been a weak point in his disguise.

Officers arrested the man Friday after multiple complaints from visitors saying they spotted a man walking around the park in women's clothing. A mug shot of the man wearing a headscarf and an abaya, a traditional loose-fitting black garment, has been released by police and widely circulated in the local press. The man, identified only by his initials, R.S.R, violated "principles of public decency and societal customs and authentic Arab Islamic traditions," Sharjah Police said in a news release issued Saturday.

It was later discovered that the man had been living in the country illegally and his case has been transferred to the public prosecutor's office, police said. The man is in custody and has not been available for comment. Police would not reveal if he has a lawyer, saying only that the case is now with the public prosecutor.

The emirate of Sharjah is only 10 miles from its glitzy neighbor, Dubai, but is much more conservative. The third largest emirate in the UAE, Sharjah is known for enforcing a strict dress code under which residents have to be attired decently by Islamic standards. Ladies-only parks, beaches and clubs are common.

'Human Barbie' Denies Extreme Plastic Surgery Rumors

She's one of the most widely viewed and discussed women on the Internet but now the Ukrainian model known as the "human Barbie" for her doll-like figure is speaking out to deny rumors of rampant plastic surgery and reveal her higher purpose in life.

"Some people even spread rumors about me and retouch my pictures to hurt me. But I don't take them seriously," Valeria Lukyanova tells V Magazine. "I'm even flattered! It's what success is like. I'm happy I seem unreal to them, it means I'm doing a good job."

Lukyanova, also an artist and singer, first made headlines in April when photos of her seemingly inhuman-like proportions were posted on websites like Jezebel.com and Huffington Post and quickly went viral. Commenters questioned whether Lukyanova was manufactured and, if she was real, how much plastic surgery she must have undergone to get her impossibly whittled waist, buxom chest and symmetrical features.

A spokesman for Lukyanova said the only plastic surgery she has had is a breast enhancement. The "human Barbie" herself told V Magazine she achieves her look with makeup.

"Many people say bad things about people who want to perfect themselves. It's hard work, but they dismiss it as something done by surgeons or computer artists," she tells V. "This is how they justify not wanting to strive for self-improvement. It's how they explain their continued inaction. It's just an excuse. There are plenty of video clips on the Internet showing what I really look like."

Also revealed in the extensive interview for the magazine's new issue, on newsstands Nov. 15, is Lukyanova's deeply-held belief in the metaphysical and spiritual worlds, including her belief that the titles of singer, model and artist are just "labels for my creative potential," not her "true essence."

"I'm a teacher at the School of Out-of-Body Travel. It's an international school in which our instructors show students how to leave their physical body and travel in their spiritual body, where you can visit any place on the planet and in the universe," she says. "I know that this is the future of mankind and that it has huge potential. Hidden reserves will be tapped soon. "

Lukyanova says her spiritual name is Amatue, an Atlantean reference to the goddess of the sun.
Though she describes herself as the "most famous woman of the Russian-speaking Internet," Lukyanova says she is unfazed by the attention over her looks.

"I know the other side of celebrity is negativity, but I see it in a positive light," she tells V. "If people care about me, then I am on the right path. In real life, I never hear bad things."

"Indeed, I've noticed a trend," she continues. "Every good-looking woman with fine features and a slim figure looks like a doll. I won't deny that I play along with people's perceptions. I'm amused by the reactions. I don't take it seriously."

The children's bodies were found in the bathtub of her home Wednesday evening, the New Orleans Police said in a statement.

The mother, identified as Chelsea Thornton, 23, admitted to officers that she killed the young children, police said. After the killings, she said she boarded a bus to a nearby hospital. Thornton faces first degree murder charges.
