A woman going into labour was pulled over for speeding by an officer in Canada early Sunday morning. Finding themselves unable to reach a hospital in time the officer in Belleville, Ontario went into emergency mode, helping deliver the baby on the side of the road.
With a grocery store behind them, the infant, a baby boy, was delivered around 4.30am, Quinte News reports. The woman from Stirling was transported to hospital and said to be doing well. Her baby is said to be doing just as well. She named him "Dakota".
The officer was reported not ticketing her for her crime.
