A couple ended up in court after a 10-year-old schoolgirl witnessed them performing a sex act in the foyer of a Lloyds TSB bank in the early evening.
Gareth Healey and Phillipa Botting, both 23, pleaded guilty to outraging public decency by committing a sexual act in a public place.
A court heard how the 10-year-old schoolgirl and her aunt were waiting by a taxi rank when the child spotted Ms Botting performing a sex act on her boyfriend in the bank foyer in the centre of Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, south west Wales.
The young schoolgirl then turned to her aunt and told her that a man and woman were 'being disgusting', the Western Telegraph reports.
She then described what she could see in the Lloyds bank foyer - which is kept open outside of normal office hours so customers can access cash machines.
The entire incident, which happened around 6.30pm on Wednesday, February 13, was captured by the bank's CCTV cameras and the pair were arrested.
Ms Botting held her head in her hands and stared at the floor as the CCTV footage was shown to the court.
Gareth Lewis, defending Healey, told Haverfordwest Magistrates Court his client's actions had been fuelled purely by drink and he was seeking help to address his problems with alcohol.
The couple, who live in Priory Court, Haverfordwest, were granted bail by magistrates on Monday and will return to the court to be sentenced on March 11th.
